UFC 196 McGregor v. Diaz / Holm v. Tate Breakdown Video and Highlight Video

BBYK – Ep. 31

The Bros discuss the epic-ness that was Michael “The Count” Bisping against Anderson “The Spider” Silva at UFC London, and a certain MMA legend and podcast favorite stops by to chat about burgers and cutting weight. #SpiderSpout.

They also break down the upcoming UFC 196 title bout between Champ Holly Holm and perennial contender Miesha Tate. These are some tough women and it should be fun match. Can the Rocky-esque Tate pull off the victory. Can anybody out-nice Holly? These are the important questions the Bros have been masticating in the mouths of their minds.

The Bros also continue their discussion of the main event pitting the Notorious Conor McGregor against Nathan Diaz. The Bros map out a game-plan (#pocketsofchaos) for the Stockton native against the Irishman. Is it possible for Mystic Mac to be wrong? At least one Bro thinks so… tune in for his shocking prediction. Also, what is over/under on bird flipping in this fight? Follow @facethefacts for the official #birdtracker! And you won’t want to miss the debut name of the Irish response to the “Stockton Slap” #DublinDrub #KillarneyKoldKock #UFC196

There is current KING in the mma world, and he rules his kingdom with an iron left fist. He has dusted the likes of Chad Mendes and Jose Aldo… yet other fighters keep wanting a piece of the KING! So being the magnanimous ruler that he is, he has journeyed past his own weight class to take on and slay all newcomers. He was suppose to meet Rafael Dos Anjos at UFC 196, but unfortunately that fight will have to wait. In RDA’s absence, another warrior emerges to challenge the The Notorious One. Can Diaz succeed where others have failed? Enjoy this hype/highlight video I made in anticipation of this fight.

Conor McGregor has something to tell every fighter that wishes to challenge him in the UFC… just hold on, I’m coming.

Who do you think will emerge victorious this weekend? Let us know in the comments below!

Optimus Silhouette.jpg

The Bros are gearing up for Super Bowl weekend by educating the masses about Groundhog Day and covering some MMA headlines. Find out what Tim’s failed drug test MEANS for the UFC Fight Night main event featuring “Cowboy” Cerrone, and what Benson Henderson’s move to Bellator says about the UFC? Finally the Bros breakdown the main event match up between Johny “Big Rigg” Hendricks and Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson. Will the ex-champ’s wrestling and pure knock out power be enough to defeat a dynamic striker in Thompson? Is “Wonderboy” the most adorkable guy ever for driving little kids to karate practice? Has Johny never heard of the Leftorium, where he can find all sorts of fire-arms designed for us left handed folk? Does Johny take running a restaurant as seriously as he takes his diets? Find out the answer to these questions and more in this episode of the Bro-est Bros You Knows. Who do you think is going to win? Tell us in the comments below.

Face The Facts – Ep 32: Con Air McGregor!

Just awarded UFC interim champion Con Air McGregor seeks to return home to Ireland with the unified belt, but to get there he must fight his way through violent serial champion, Jose “The Virus” Aldo.

Con Air: Christ in a cartoon.

Garland White: That is Aldo. That skinny little man butchered a bunch of people up and down the feather-weight division.

Aldo looked over at Con Air. He grabbed his box and looked at the UFC Championship Belt.

Aldo: I knew you was a punk.

Con Air: Put the belt back in the box.

We did a UFC fight simulation in anticipation of UFC 194:

Bro-est Bros You Knows – Ep. 21- Ronda Routed

You could see her face spread across the marquee… this was RONDA ROUSEY’s game and nobody else had a right to win. The undisputed champion versus the 7th ranked bantamweight fighter? “Easy night for the Champ” they all thought.

Nobody took Little Holly seriously. Nobody thought she had a shot, except Little Holly. She new that the challenge was bigger than anything she had ever faced before, and to prepare, she would have to train her little butt off!

She trained so hard some days she would go home and just cry it out. She never stopped pushing, though. She didn’t just think she could beat the champion, she knew she had the skills to do it.

Fight night came around, and Little Holly met the Champ in the middle of the ring. Immediately, it was apparent to everyone watching that this wasn’t going to be the fight they had expected it to be. Little Holly performed like a champion, combining effortless speed and grace with deadly power and accuracy.

She darted in and out of the Rousey’s reach, peppering the Champ relentlessly. The Champ looked absolutely bamboozled. She didn’t have an answer for the challenger. Little Holly looked for the right moment and…

Klar: Wait a minute… wait just a darn minute. That’s boxing bro!!!

STFU Klar, you don’t know s*** about boxing! *sigh Fine… There stood Hall Li, she was about to face the current champion of the World Warrior Tournament.

She went up to touch gloves but her gesture was politely declined by the Champion. A voice off screen yelled “FIGHT” and it was time to go!

Klar: Yeah, you can’t actually take anyone to ground in Street Fighter. I prefer it to be more… realistic, you know.

Okay, last time. Holly Holm stood in front of the UFC champion Ronda Rousey, and visualized her victory. She had her family behind her. She had coaches that absolutely believed in her. Bruce Buffer announced that it was time and she got ready to go.

Klar: Schway.
